On this page, we describe the methods of managing the website with regards to the processing of personal data of users who consult it. This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (European Regulation on the protection of personal data – GDPR) to those who interact with the services and web pages of the site accessible electronically from the address: www.omegaindustrie.eu corresponding to the homepage of the site.

  • Types of data processed.

    Navigation data: The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by their very nature, through processing and association with data held by third parties, could allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment. These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning, and are immediately deleted after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.   • Processing methods.

    The personal data collected during navigation are processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, unlawful or incorrect uses, and unauthorized access.

  • Purposes and legal basis of the processing.

For the receipt of newsletters and promotions, market research or other sampling research and direct selling, informative material, for the detection of the degree of satisfaction, commercial and advertising material or related to events and initiatives, by the Data Controller through automated means, electronic mail, or other means for which specific virtual button has been placed at the end of the reference form (according to art. 6, para. 1, lett. a) of the EU Reg. 2016/679).

  • The recipients or categories of recipients of the data

    The personal data provided will be communicated to recipients, who will process the data as data processors (art. 28 of the EU Regulation 2016/679) and/or as individuals who act under the authority of the Data Controller and Data Processor (art. 29 of the EU Regulation 2016/679), for the purposes listed above. For example, the data may be communicated to subjects who provide services for the management of the information system and communication networks (including email); studies or companies in the context of assistance and consultancy relationships:

  • Period of data retention or criteria for determining the period.

    The processing will be carried out in an automated and manual form, with methods and tools aimed at ensuring maximum security and confidentiality, by specially appointed persons. In compliance with the provisions of art. 5 para. 1 lett. e) of EU Reg. 2016/679, the personal data collected will be stored in a form that allows the identification of the data subjects for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which the personal data is processed.     You will be able to exercise your rights as expressed in articles 15-22 of the EU Regulation 2016/679.
